Bridgewater Community Center Executive Director 

Part-time / Full-time options 

The Executive Director will manage daily operational tasks of the Bridgewater Community Center by planning and organizing administrative systems. The Executive Director will also be the main point person of the Community Center and work in partnership with the Bridgewater Community Childcare Center Director reporting to the Bridgewater Area Community Foundation Board of Directors. 


The duties and responsibilities of the Exe time Director include, but are not limited to: 

    • Create and manage an operation budget

    • Create and implement a marketing plan

    • Seek, create and manage partnerships for programing

    • Contract with appropriate organizations and personnel to help facilitate the smooth operation of the facility.

    • Plan and organize the Center’s programming. Contract with appropriate instructors to effectively deliver programing.

    • Manage enrollment for the Center programming.

    • Manage the rental of space.

    • Attend Board meeting and provide P & L and activity reports to the Board of Directors.

    • Maintain a regular office presence and provide customer service.

    • Procure equipment and supplies.

    • Fundraising - foundations, government entities, businesses, individual donors & grants

    • Manage and update website and social media platforms

 Qualifications: 

    1. Bachelor degree in a business or related degree

    2. Three to five years of Administrative or Managerial experience

    3. Highly developed organizational and communication skills

    4. Computer and internet savvy (Quickbooks, Squarespace, Google Suite, Microsoft Suit)

    5. Ability to troubleshoot and resolve problems

    6. Previous nonprofit experience is a plus

    7. The ability to multi-task is essential

    8. Strong communication skills

    9. The ability to adapt and grow along with the organization and be responsive to change.
