Since its inception in 2017, the BACF’s mission has been to support local families through thoughtful and intentional programming.
When a local school closure presented a critical choice—demolish a historic building or restore it for a brighter future—Hank Smith stepped forward as the visionary leader. He assembled a team of local partners who successfully saved the building. Though Hank has since passed and our board has evolved, his vision remains at the heart of our work.
We are deeply grateful to the donors and partners who have supported us along the way. Today, we invite both new and returning investors to join us in stabilizing BACF so we can continue serving our community for years to come.
